Active Kids = Healthy Kids
New for Fall, Suwanee Sports Academy will be offering PE classes for children in the home school community based on the MySport curriculum. If you are looking for a cost effective way to provide structured PE time while fulfilling the activity requirement for school, then this program is for you! We provide trained coaches and a structured curriculum designed to teach kids the fundamentals in a variety of sports including soccer, floor hockey, baseball, basketball, dance and more in a fun yet challenging way. The MySport curriculum helps build a foundation in physical literacy that benefits kids whether they group up to be a recreational or competitive athlete.
Held in our world class facility conveniently located next to the Suwanee Greenway, you can walk on the Greenway or check out a low cost membership for our 15,0000 square foot off-court performance training area that includes a 1/6 mile walking track while your children participate in the class. Or bring a book or laptop and take advantage of the time to catch up on lesson plans or other projects in our cafe area with wireless connections.
Physical Literacy Defined:
Starting in August, the class schedule will follow the traditional Gwinnett County Public School System calendar for holidays and school breaks. The co-ed classes will be separated into two age groups: kindergarten through 3rd grade and fourth through sixth grades. We will offer a program for seventh and eighth grade students if there is enough interest from the community to form a separate class.
