The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions is celebrating its 19th year and for the first time in many years will also be an NCAA 
Certified event!!! Not only will the top scouting services once again cover the action, but college coaches will also be able to attend the event. For teams who have played in the event before, note that this year the tournament will be held April 27-29 to take advantage of the open period for college coaches. The event will also move to Atlanta so all games can be played under one roof at Suwanee Sports Academy. We have very limited capacity in our invitational division; 32 teams for 17u, 16 teams for 16u and 16 teams for 15u.
Qualifying teams will receive an invitation from our tournament committee to participate in the invitational division.
Also, new this year is an open division tournament for middle and grade school teams. Again, our capacity is limited so register early if you want to take part in one of the nation's premier tournaments.

Ages: Boys 7th Grade/13U - 11th Grade/17U
Cost: $595 for High School /$475 for Middle School
Format: Pool Play into Bracket Play (3 Game Minimum)

- NCAA Certified: For the first time in years college coaches will be able to attend the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions.
- Scouting Services: The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions is one of the most highly scouted event's of the year. Writers from ESPN, Rivals and other top media organizations will be on hand to report on the competition. The Gibbons report also covers the event and reaches over 300 college programs.
- Top Competition: The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions attracts top teams from around the nation and is highly selective. Qualifying teams can have confidence they will have an opportunity to compete against the best.
- Collegiate Officials: Good officiating usually goes unnoticed but bad officiating can ruin your tournament. In line with trying to offer the most professional and rewarding experience to your teams, the invitational division will be officiated by collegiate level officials.
- Media and Stats: Individidual Player statistics will be kept for all games. Select matchups will also be broadcast over the internet. In addition, all tournament results and standing are available online in real time. An all tournament team and MVPs will also be selected.
- Great Tournament Destination: Atlanta is an easy travel destination for many teams and hotel accomodations near the venue are inexpensive.
- Venue: For more than a decade Suwanee Sports Academy has been the place where some of the best players around come to test their skills. The facility is regarded by many as the best place in the country for hosting basketball tournaments.
- Rules: We have rules and we follow them. All teams are required to check-in and show birth certficates and grade reports.

For Teams: Suwaneee Sports Academy has established partnerships with many local hotels so that participating teams traveling from out-of-town receive special room rates and deals. To facilitate this we have even created our own housing bureau so you can research the hotel that fits your group and book directly into our special room rate blocks. If you are visiting from out of town, make sure to book your hotel here.
